Peace over exhaustion: A prayer for when you’re standing up for yourself

Team up in heaven,

Thank you for being with me today.

I feel like I’ve been having to stand up for myself a lot recently

Like it’s the assignment you’ve granted me in this time of my life.

It feels exhausting because my ego takes over

And makes me think every one is against me and that I’m doing this alone.

Continue to send me reminders throughout my day

that you are with me

That when I stand up for myself

It’s me AND you.

Remind me that the ideas I have are worth sharing

That the thoughts I have are valuable

And that I am worthy of protecting my inner peace at all times.

Remind me that when I do this,

I get to live in my joy.

Forever and ever.
