What is the Joy Table?

The Joy Table is dinner party experience designed to connect you to and through your joy.

Why did you create The Joy Table?

I wanted to finally have the conversations I wanted to have around the table. So often the conversation is negative or fear based that are surface level. We talk about the state of the world, the gossip we heard and tend to bond over complaints and pain. The Joy Table is a place to go beneath the surface, honor your own story - yes, even the painful parts - and experience it rooted in joy.

How many people come the dinner?

The Joy Table is an intimate dinner party consisting of 5 to 8 women.  This allows us to get to know one another and also enjoy one conversation around the table.

How many hours is the Joy Table?

The Joy Table is a 3 hour event and you're welcome to stay for tea nightcap and making any final connections with the other women at the table.

6 - 6:30: Mocktail Welcome

6:30 - 7: Introduction to your Joy & appetizers

7 - 8:30: Dinner & Deeper Conversation

8:30 - 9: Dessert & your joy infusion

EXTRA 9 - 9:30: Tea Time & final connections

What kind of food is served?

At an evening Joy Table:

I started cooking Indian food over a year ago to learn something new, but also to process all of my own coaching I received during the week. It was a time for me to be focused on something that brought me joy instead of the Sunday scaries. I serve vegan Indian food.  I make a gluten free bread option as well a gluten option.

At a brunch Joy Table:

There will be gluten free and mostly plant based items.

If you have any allergies, please make note of that in your RSVP so I can work to accommodate you.

Is there alcohol served?

There is no alcohol served at The Joy Table. While I know that liquid courage helps us open up, you already have all the courage you need within yourself and not serving alcohol is just a little nudge is helping you access that.

How do RSVP?

Through the link above! I can't wait to meet you!  There will be a seat for the first 7 who confirm through their RSVP and provide payment.  If you have questions, send me an email (maggieleonguerrero@gmail.com).  The dates of the future Joy Tables are sent out through emails for you to save the date.

How much does it cost?

The Joy Table dinner, consisting of appetizers, a main course, a bread and dessert (prepared by me) and the guided conversation over the course of 3 hours is $111 per person. My goal with every table is go above and beyond in making you feel welcome, comfortable, safe and supported.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel and receive a full refund up to two weeks prior to the event (minus any processing fees).  After that date, there will be no refunds upon cancellation.  Example, the Saturday, 2 weeks prior, is the last day you can cancel for a full refund.

No one holds a candle to you,

Maggie

Maggie’s Joy Table was just what I needed to fill up my cup! The company and conversations and food were delightful. She held space for all the range of emotions and feelings that come with the human experience, all while encouraging more gratitude and joy. I set an intention to release perfection for the night and just be present and that’s exactly what happened! Thank you Maggie!
